I should really get internet...
A quick lunchtime message to let you know that I am still alive. I have a couple of funny photos to post soon and next time I have interenet at the apartment, I'll throw them on. Soon! I promise! And I'll tell you all about my new workout buddy at the gym, how I knocked off a couple of things off my 101 list, and how Ken and I continue to refuse to turn on our heat. Are you guys that hard up for cash you can't heat your apartment? Do you know there are usually community funded programs so that EVERYONE can have heat in the winter? :P
It is seriously okay in our apartment! It gets a bit chilly around 9 pm, but never enough to need more than a throw blanket. Hot chocolate does wonders at taking away a bit of the chill as well. It's fabulous. We are saving so much money by refusing to turn on the thermostat.
The night you wrote that post... I had to call emergency maintence to come FIX my heater at 1am. I was freezing. I don't think it had turned on in 2 days. And when the wind blows during storms, our front room is like 50F because of a gaping hole in the window seal (poor construction).
